MISSION STATEMENT:

My deepest desire when I’m writing is to be able to share with others all the joy, the comfort, the hope and the strength I receive continually from God, by taking time to open up to Him and listen to Him through His Holy Word in the Bible. I pray these meditations will help the readers to experience God’s love for each one of us in a new and exciting way. Amen!

God is Always With Us

Meditation (Numbers 11:21-23) Moses said to the Lord, “Here I am leading 600,000 people, and you say that you will give them enough meat for a month.” Could enough cattle and sheep be killed to satisfy them?”  … “Is there a limit to My power?” the Lord answered.  “You will soon see whether what I said will happen or not!”

Personal Reflection and Prayer:  Dear Heavenly Father, You help us bring our needs and desires for You to bless to Your service.  You say to us there is no limit to Your power and You give us Your assurance that we will soon see whether or not what You have said will happen.  We thank You, Lord, for Your promises.  May You help us believe and always trust that You are always with us!  In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

We rely on You alone, Lord!

Meditation:  (Numbers 10:33,35)  When the people left Sinai, the holy mountain, they traveled three days.  The Lord’s Covenant Box always went ahead of them to find a place for them to camp…Whenever the Covenant Box started out, Moses would say, “Arise, Lord; scatter your enemies and put to flight those who hate you”.

Personal Reflection and Prayer:  Dear Heavenly Father, We read of Moses’ travels, of how the people obeyed Your direction.  Help us learn from this how we too can dedicate our lives to Your command.  Show us the direction You want us to take.  We rely on You, Lord.  We depend on You alone.  In Jesus’ name, we pray,  Amen.

May the Lord bless you and take care of you

Meditation (Numbers 6:22-26) The Lord commanded Moses to tell Aaron and his sons to use the following words in blessing the people of Israel.  “May the Lord  bless you and take care of you; May the Lord be kind and gracious to you.  May the Lord look on you with favor and give you peace.”

Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, We thank You for all Your many blessings and that You take care of each one of us.  Praise You, Lord, for You look on us with favour and give us Your peace.  May You help us live these blessings and be witnesses of Your love to all we come in contact with today and every day.  In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

“I Will Give You Peace”

Meditation (Leviticus 26:1,3,6) The Lord said, “If you live according to My laws and obey My commands,… I will give you peace in your land…”

Personal Reflection and Prayer:  Dear Heavenly Father, You make conditions for receiving Your peace… that we obey Your commands.  Often we see obeying Your commands as restricting, limiting our freedom.  However, obeying Your commands is the only way to freedom and peace.  Thank You, Lord, for the lessons You teach us everyday, if we read Your Word faithfully.  In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
