My deepest desire when I’m writing is to be able to share with others all the joy, the comfort, the hope and the strength I receive continually from God, by taking time to open up to Him and listen to Him through His Holy Word in the Bible. I pray these meditations will help the readers to experience God’s love for each one of us in a new and exciting way. Amen!

Meditation (Leviticus 23:1-3) The Lord gave Moses the following regulations for the religious festivals, when the people of Israel are to gather for worship.  You have six days in which to do your work, but remember that the seventh day, the Sabbath, is a day of rest.  On that day we do not work, but gather for worship.  The Sabbath belongs to the  Lord, no matter where you live.

Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for giving regulations for a day of rest and worship.  You have given us six days in which to work but we have not always  remembered  the Sabbath.  Help us, Lord to get back to You, to follow Your commandments and to remember that the Sabbath belongs to You.  Amen.

Meditation (Leviticus 19:17,18)  Do not bear grudges against anyone, but settle your differences with him, so that you will not commit a sin because of him  Do not take revenge on anyone or continue to hate him, but love your neighbor as you love yourself.  I am The Lord.

Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, These are really hard instructions for us to follow as we are so tempted at times to want revenge when someone has hurt us deeply!  We need Your help,  Lord,  as left on our own, we do bear grudges and sometimes have trouble in forgiving.  Please bless us with Your love that we may be able to love others as You would have us love them.  In Jesus’ name we pray,  Amen.

Meditation (Leviticus 10:3)  Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is  what the Lord  was speaking about when He said, ‘All who serve Me must respect My holiness; I will reveal My glory to My people.’”

Personal Reflection and Prayer:  Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You and praise You that You do reveal Yourself to those who serve You.  You are such an awesome God!  When we invite You to take part in our everyday lives, You are there with us and You are interested in every detail of our days.  May You remind us to bring You all our cares, decisions and activities.  In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Meditation (Leviticus 4:1-2) The Lord commanded Moses to tell the people of Israel that anyone who sinned and broke any of the Lord’s commands without intending to, would have to observe the following rules…

Personal Reflection and Prayer:  Dear Heavenly Father, You know that we sin and break Your commands when we don’t trust You, when we “entertain” certain fears and worries, obsessing about them.  Dear Lord, may You grant us the gift of total trust in You, such that when we pray about something, we leave it in Your loving Hands and trust that You hear our prayers.  Amen.
