My deepest desire when I’m writing is to be able to share with others all the joy, the comfort, the hope and the strength I receive continually from God, by taking time to open up to Him and listen to Him through His Holy Word in the Bible. I pray these meditations will help the readers to experience God’s love for each one of us in a new and exciting way. Amen!

Meditation: (Exodus 27:9,10) The Enclosures for the Tent of the Lord’s Presence. “ For the Tent of My Presence, make an enclosure of fine linen curtains. On the south side, the curtains are to be 50 yards long, supported by 20 bronze posts in 20 bronze bases with hooks and rods made of silver.”

Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father: When I read these chapters, I find detailed descriptions and orders on how to do this and that. Although I sometimes find this tedious to read, I can’t help but appreciate that You are a God of details. In previous chapters, how powerful a God You are; You put to death mighty kings and their armies... But here, You are a God who defines all the minute details of the tent of the Lord’s Presence, down to the last inch! You are so awesome, God! We worship You! Amen.

Meditation: (Exodus 20:1-5) God spoke and these were His words: “I am the Lord who brought you out of Egypt where you were slaves. Worship no god but me. Do not make for yourselves images of anything in heaven or on earth or in the water under the earth. Do not bow down to any idol or worship it, because I am the Lord your God and I tolerate no rivals.”

Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, You command us to worship only You. Yet we admit that we often worship our own idols of fear, worry, or greed and pride, and so many others. May You forgive us and heal us, Lord. Please grant us Your pardon, healing and Your peace. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Meditation (Exodus 14:13-14) Moses answered, “Don’t be afraid! Stand your ground and you will see what the Lord will do to save you today; ... The Lord will fight for you, and all you will have to do is keep still”.

Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, So many times I have relied on these verses! Always You keep Your promises. So many times I have gone to You, confessing my fears, always receiving the message: ‘Keep still and trust Me’. When I bring You my fears, asking for your healing, I receive assurance that I can leave them with You. For me, as for the Israelites, You always keep Your word. You fight for me. All I must do is keep still and know that You are God! Amen.

Meditation (Exodus 11:9) The Lord said to Moses, “The king will continue to refuse to listen to you, in order that I may do more of My miracles in Egypt.”

Personal Reflection and Prayer: May we learn to see all the miracles that have happened to us and to others so many times. We thank You and praise You, dear Lord, for bringing us safely through many situations. May we always see Your hand at work and learn that it was not “luck” but You who cared so much for us! Father, we adore You, Amen.
