My deepest desire when I’m writing is to be able to share with others all the joy, the comfort, the hope and the strength I receive continually from God, by taking time to open up to Him and listen to Him through His Holy Word in the Bible. I pray these meditations will help the readers to experience God’s love for each one of us in a new and exciting way. Amen!

Meditation (Exodus 9:1) The Lord said to Moses, “Go to the king and tell him that the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says, “Let My people go so that they may worship me”..

Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father: Thank You for Your wonderful blessing of the freedom to worship You in fellowship in our churches. Please never let us take this privilege for granted nor let us miss an opportunity to praise and adore You, dear Lord! In Jesus’s name, we pray, Amen.

Meditation: (Exodus 3:5) God said to Moses, “Do not come any closer. Take off your sandals, because you are standing on holy ground.”

Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father: When we come to worship You, may You assist us in ‘removing our sandals, because we are standing on holy ground!’ We need to remove any sign of irreverence so we can come with deep devotion, as an invited guest before our King. Please teach us to recognize Your Presence, Lord, and to listen to You when You are speaking to us. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Meditation (Genesis 45:5,8) Joseph said to his brothers: “It was really God who sent me ahead of you to save people’s lives ... So it was not really you who sent me here, but God.”

Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, May you please help us see Your hand when You are showing us Your way. Guide us when we are tempted to go on our own, or someone else’s way. Let us realize when You are sending us somewhere, that it is important to follow Your will. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Meditation: (Genesis 41:15-16) The King told Joseph, “I have had a dream that no one can explain. I have been told that you can interpret dreams.” Joseph answered, “I cannot, Your Majesty, but God will give a favorable interpretation.”

Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, Please help us to reach for Your direction and guidance, when we need it. Teach us to listen to You alone and not to our own desires and ambitions. Also, may You teach us to say, like Joseph, ‘Only God will give a favorable interpretation...’ We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
