My deepest desire when I’m writing is to be able to share with others all the joy, the comfort, the hope and the strength I receive continually from God, by taking time to open up to Him and listen to Him through His Holy Word in the Bible. I pray these meditations will help the readers to experience God’s love for each one of us in a new and exciting way. Amen!

Meditation (Deuteronomy 20:1) When you go out to fight against your enemies and see chariots and horses and an army that outnumbers yours, do not be afraid of them.  The Lord your God, who rescued you from Egypt, will be with you.”

Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, We thank and praise You for repeating Your promises over and over again, that You will always be with us.  Please print these precious words in our hearts and in our heads, Lord, that we will be conscious of Your presence and Your love every moment of our lives.  May You teach us to always rely on You and to know that You are with us helping us, protecting us and guiding us.  Amen.

Meditation (Deuteronomy 16:11-12) “Be joyful in the Lord’s presence, together with your children, your servants… Be sure you obey these commands; do not forget you were slaves in Egypt.”
Personal Reflection and Prayer:  Dear Heavenly Father, May You forgive us, Lord, for having  other gods in our lives, gods of money, pride, success and many others… Please help us, Lord, to know You are the only One who will give us our peace and that we should just come to You for our needs.  In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.

Meditation (Deuteronomy 11:18,19) “Remember these commands and cherish them. Tie them on your arms and wear them on your foreheads as a reminder.  Teach them to your children.  Talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you are resting and when you are working.”
Personal Reflection and Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,  We need to hear this message over and over again! Please help us to remember and cherish Your commandments.  May You teach us how to appreciate them, Lord, and understand that they are good for us and the way to our happiness.  In Jesus’ name, we ask, Amen.

Meditation ( Deuteronomy 8:11) “Make certain that you do not forget the Lord your God; do not fail to obey any of His laws that I am giving you today”.
Personal Reflection and Prayer:  Dear Heavenly Father, It is so easy to forget, Lord! Please forgive us for the many times we have forgotten You and not obeyed Your laws.  Too often we ignore Your commands and go our merry way.  May You show us that Your laws are not to spoil our pleasures but that they are for our own good and well being.  In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
