We're delighted to announce that Rev.  Neil Baxter came home from the Bruyere centre on Friday September 13, and will joined us at church on Sunday.  We celebrated with a potluck lunch. The story of Neil's journey back to health can be found on our Community page.

We went to the Christmas Parade in Rockland, and handed out about 2000 candy canes, with a story about the symbolism of the treat. The message on our slide show tells about our Christmas schedule too!

UPDATE! - Look for a new chapter at the end of this article

We reprint a recent announcement from an Orleans family helping their young son during cancer treatment. You'll find two paragraphs highlighted that provide a brilliant insight into what Paul wrote of in Romans 5:3-5, concerning suffering and faith.

a final, long... update taking you back through some of the journey for Joshua

by Paula  on Sunday, 01 May 2011 at 04:04

Dear family and friends,

This is the news we have been waiting, and believing, we would be able to share with you. Joshua is in REMISSION! We are deeply thankful. Praise God. Joshua's CT scan showed that the mass on his chest was shrinking, but still showed evidence of the cancer. The Nuclear scan showed no 'uptake', which means that even though the mass is still there it is showing no malignancy! This is the news we needed to hear!

The "Men's Breakfast" is held the Fourth Saturday of each month at 9:00 am

(Except July and August)

Our Purpose is to encourage personal excellence, honesty and integrity.

Our Group is open to all men.

Our goals are to strengthen our commitment to our Lord, our families, one another and our faithfulness.

May we learn to love wastefully/extravagantly.

Should this fellowship have a supporting prayer let it be similar to the following in its depth and width:

God, our Father, who sent your Son to be our savior; renew in us day by day the power of your Holy Spirit; that with knowledge and zeal, with courage and love, with gratitude and hope, we may strive powerfully in your service: may He keep our vision clear, our aspiration high, our purpose firm and our sympathy wide; that we may live as a faithful soldier and servant of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God Bless
